DIY Hair Growth Spritzer
For many of us, shiny, healthy-looking hair is high on our beauty wish lists. Shedding is a normal part of our hair's growing cycle, but it can feel discouraging if hair feels brittle or won't appear to grow. Anything from stress to hormones to nutritional imbalances can cause hair shedding or breakage; and while healthy hair starts from the inside out we love this DIY hair growth spritzer to give hair an extra boost.
This hair growth spritzer featuring Paradise Springs essential oils is natural and easy to make. The essential oils are selected to promote a healthy scalp and stimulate hair growth while the witch hazel is a refreshing addition that makes it ideal for all scalp types without weighing it down like heavier oil alternatives. We include aloe vera for shine and scalp revitalizing properties (it contains proteolytic enzymes beneficial for scalp health). When selecting an aloe vera for this recipe, opt for one without alcohol in the ingredient's list.
Essential Oils for Hair Growth
Rosemary Oil
Rosemary Oil is well known for its ability to promote strong, healthy-looking hair and is the star of this recipe. Rosemary Oil can promote hair thickness and growth by stimulating follicles and supporting cellular generation.
Tea Tree Oil
Lavender Oil
Lavender Oil is an antimicrobial and antibacterial addition to this hair spritzer. It helps promote relaxation (which can impact hair health), promotes a healthy scalp and supports hair growth, shine and smoothness.
Lemon Oil
Lemon Oil has antibacterial and astringent properties. A little goes a long way with this citrus-packed essential oil, and adding a few drops can help control oil buildup and promote a healthy shine.
