    Plants produce inulin and use it as a source of energy. This prebiotic dietary fiber is a type of carbohydrate that’s not digested in your body, but is used as “food” by your gut’s good bacteria. Some studies have found that adding inulin into your diet can increase the variety of good bacteria in your gut, which can lead to a healthy gastrointestinal tract.     I�ve been taking these over a month after researching the best pre/postbiotics for UC. These had most of the things I was looking for.     I have been taking this product for over a month now. I started out with one capsule a day because I wasn�t sure how it would affect me. For about a week after starting two capsules per day, I had the worst gas ever! Although it�s a bit challenging at times to me this is good, it means it�s working. It can also increase the mucus in your stools. After about a week that went away. It keeps me regular and I do not have any tummy issues. Would recommend!

    I've been taking this probiotic for some time now. I take one per day (the package calls for two per day) but have felt that one was sufficient to maintain my digestive health, which has been a plus for me since the bottle lasts twice as long.     Works better than sodium butyrate

    This is an amazing probiotic supplement that also has prebiotics and postbiotics (tributyrin). The ultimate goal of probiotics is to generate postbiotics from prebiotic fiber, so having tributyrin already in each capsule boosts the performance by quite a bit. In fact, I usually take sodium butyrate on top of my probiotics, but with this I can pass on the extra supplement. Sodium butyrate is metabolized too quickly anyway so tributyrin is more effective. This is a must have it you experience bloating or other gut issues.
