Tentative 5 star review based on the claim that the product is USP certified. Look it up if you care about validation of the quality of a supplement. The overwhelming majority of supplements are not tested by any outside organizations to verify that they have the ingredients listed on the label. Check the independent reporting on supplement quality. The amount of relevant ingredients in products typically ranges from one-fifth of what is claimed to more than five times that amount. FDA has no authority to regulate the market thanks to lobbying money. Only organizations such as the National Sanitation Foundation and the United States Pharmacopeia are providing this type of oversight, and it's up to manufacturers to choose to submit their products for review. Very few do. Most know they can count on poor education, marketing hype and consumer fatigue to avoid the effort and cost. So it's up to you. Do your homework or take your chances on the market. Now does product actually help? The next time I get a T test, I'll find out, and update this review.

Potency of product is lacking

I have tried other DHEA brands much more potent & effective than this brand. My go to brand had been Jarrow DHEA. It wasn't available anymore so I tried this one and was extremely disappointed. I could feel the Jarrow brand working only taking a 10 mg capsule and upping the dosage as needed. This brand being a 50 mg felt absolutely no difference after taking. The quality & potency isn't there of this product. Definitely not up to the same quality as others. Wouldn't buy again and wish I had tried another brand other than this one. If the company was concerned about customers getting a quality product then they would stand behind it too, they don't.

Severe stomach pain

After about a week of taking this supplement, I started having severe stomach aches in the mornings to the point where I would be sweating and clutching my stomach while using the toilet, I wasn't sure what was going on so I decided to stop talking this supplement to see if it was causing the problem, it took about 3 days before the pain went away and I didn't take it again for about a month, and low and behold the pain came back, so for me, this is no good this is just my experience with this product.

Be careful

It is what it says it is but be careful. It's very powerful and I had all the symptoms of corticosteroids. The anti-inflammatory properties are probably the cause of the small-scale studies claiming its life-extension properties but certain people (me) are prone to memory issues or runaway cortisol (whose ratio is closely tied to dhea due to a feedback mechanism)

I typically don't write reviews on this sort of thing but for those who are sensitive to hormonal changes should be aware. I figured it out after about 1 month of blaming everything else because the clouded thinking was so prominent
