DIY Layered Milk Bath Mason Jar
What You'll Need
(makes one 16oz milk bath)
- 1 cup powdered goat's milk (or powdered coconut milk)
- 1 cup Dead Sea salt
- 1 Tsp Paradise Springs Jojoba Oil
- 6 drops Paradise Springs Lavender Oil
- 6 drops Paradise Springs Sweet Orange Oil
- 16oz mason jar
- Labels for gifting
Optional add-ins:
- Dried rose petals
- Calming herbs, such as chamomile, lavender or valerian
- Energizing herbs, such as peppermint, tea tree or eucalyptus
To Make
Combine Dead Sea salt with Jojoba Oil and other essential oils in a mixing bowl and mix until combined.
In a separate bowl, add your powdered goat milk and any other dried herbs (such as chamomile) and mix until combined.
Separate your other ingredients, such as rose petals and lavender buds, and set aside.
To assemble, start by scooping 1/2 cup of the powdered milk mixture into your mason jar to make a flat, even layer. Next, layer 1/2 cup Dead Sea salt followed by any optional add-ins, such as rose petals or valerian.
Repeat steps until jar is full. Seal tightly with lid, applying the printed label with double-sided tape if using.
Use & Storage
To use, simply pour the entire contents of the jar into your bath for a mineral-packed, hydrating soak. Make sure to use a strainer to collect any petals or herbs from the drain.
This layered jar can be stored in a cool, dry place for up to three months until ready to use. Once opened, use entire contents. Enjoy!
