DIY Sinus Relief Bath

We use Peppermint and Eucalyptus essential oils in this recipe for help ease congestion naturally. Bacteria in the sinus cavities can lead to inflammation, causing pressure and discomfort. Peppermint Oil and Eucalyptus Oil both have natural medicinal properties that can help open passageways. Their analgesic properties help soothe discomfort, while anti-inflammatory and decongestant properties can help relieve inflammation. We use Epsom salt for its natural detoxifying properties, and include baking soda to help keep the oils from evaporating for a fresh, natural bath salt recipe.
What You’ll Need
- 1 cup Epsom salt
- ¼ cup baking soda
- 5 drops Paradise Springs Peppermint Oil
- 10 drops Paradise Springs Organic Eucalyptus Oil
- Airtight container for storing
- Optional: Green food coloring
To Make
This super simple recipe takes minutes to make. Simply combine the baking soda and Epsom salt together. Once mixed, add food coloring if desired, then add the essential oils. Mix together and transfer to an airtight glass jar.
Use & Storage
To use, simply draw a warm bath, add a few scoops of your bath salts, sit back and relax. Store in a cool, dry place in an airtight jar.
