Summer Breeze DIY Room Spray, Sugar Scrub & Lotion Bars

Summer is almost here. Bring the outdoors in with 3 of our favorite ways to incorporate our Summer Breeze Blend into your daily routine.

Essential Oils Needed:

Summer Breeze Diffuser & Room Spray

This simple mixture of water and essential oils lets you incorporate the scent of Summer into any room.

What You’ll Need:

• 3 drops Paradise Springs Lemon Oil
• 3 drops Paradise Springs Sweet Orange Oil
• 2 drops Paradise Springs Spearmint Oil
• Water

Add the above to a spray bottle or your favorite diffuser to fill the room with our quintessential Summer scent.

Summer Breeze Sugar Scrub

This citrus sugar scrub is both fragrant and hydrating. Use it in the shower or set it out in a dish for a zesty tropical hand scrub.

What You’ll Need:

• ½ cup sugar
• ½ cup coconut oil 
• ¼ tsp Vitamin E (optional)
• 10 drops Paradise Springs Sweet Orange Oil
• 7 drops Paradise Springs Lemon Oil
• 4 drops Paradise Springs Spearmint Oil
• ½ tbsp orange zest (optional)

Add the sugar to a mixing bowl, and gradually pour in coconut oil (tip: coconut oil should be room temperature or slightly melted for easier mixing). Continue to add until desired consistency is reached. Add the essential oils and optional Vitamin E and orange zest, mix well. Store in an airtight jar.

Summer Breeze Lotion Bars

Enjoy Summer on the go with these portable lotion bars.

What You’ll Need:

• 1 cup coconut oil
• 1 cup shea butter
• 1 cup beeswax (or candelilla wax for a vegan alternative)
• 10 drops Paradise Springs Sweet Orange Oil
• 7 drops Paradise Springs Lemon oil
• 4 drops Paradise Springs Spearmint Oil
• Molds, such as an ice cube tray

Combine everything except the essential oils in a quart-sized mason jar and place in a small saucepan of water until melted. Stir until smooth. Remove from heat and stir in essential oils until incorporated before carefully pouring into molds. Allow the lotion bars to cool completely. Store in parchment paper or a tin container.
