Vitamins 101
HEALTH STARTS NOW
Though many important vitamins can be obtained from food sources - and some are even created by the body - various environmental factors and busy lifestyles do not always allow for the healthiest options.
Not everyone has access to wild caught fish, and sometimes soil can be low in nutrients, resulting in fruits and vegetables being low in nutrients. Foods high in trans fats and sodium are usually easier to access, cheaper and faster to get.
Certain dietary restrictions, fast-paced lifestyles and other nutritional deficiencies may also factor into inadequate vitamin levels.
Supplementing with dietary supplements is a convenient way to get the nutrients needed for general wellness.
